The ride-sharing platform Uber is leaving Bulgaria again, and this time, perhaps permanently. Nine years after the service ceased operations in the Bulgarian market, this fall the company will also close its engineering office in the country. When it first opened, this office was Uber's first such location outside of San Francisco.
Just recently, on October 18, OpenAI officially launched its ChatGPT chatbot app for the Windows operating system. However, at that time, access to the software was unfortunately limited to paid subscription holders (Plus, Enterprise, Team, or Edu). Then, on November 14, company representatives officially announced on their social media that the app for Microsoft's OS is now available to everyone—it can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store, and AI features can be used even with a free account. At the same time, the feature set is exactly the same (except for the special features for paid subscriptions).
To quickly launch the app, you can use the shortcut Alt + Space, though if you prefer, you can deactivate it in the settings. At the same time, the software allows you to interact not only with text content. Users can upload files, images, take screenshots using ChatGPT, and then edit them, communicate with the AI via voice, dictate commands, and much more. There is also the option to switch between different AI models, although, for free account profiles, this feature is still limited. In any case, this is, in many ways, more convenient than launching the chatbot in a browser window.
Remember that progress in ChatGPT continues, and the software can now work with developer tools under macOS. Among the main compatible programs are VS Code, Xcode, TextEdit, Terminal, and iTerm2.
