Global internet traffic has grown significantly in 2024. and that's not all

The fact that we all spend a lot of time online is nothing new. Internet giant Cloudflare has shared some statistics on how much people around the world have been surfing this year.

The data shows a huge increase in internet traffic worldwide.

Despite dips in late February and late summer, global Internet traffic increased sharply in the last quarter. By the end of November, total annual traffic had grown by 17.2%. However, this increase is not evenly distributed across the globe. In Guinea, for example, internet traffic is set to grow by a whopping 350% in 2024.
